Established in January 2007, we are a friendly group that meets every Friday afternoon in Galloway Hall, Fulwood. The hall is spacious and your view won't be obscured by other artists as can happen at other groups. We pride ourselves on creating the perfect setting for life drawing with a plinth to raise the model off the floor and optimised lighting creating beautiful shadows to add form and dimension to your art.
The sessions run from 2-4pm. Our first pose starts at 2pm prompt. Please try and arrive early, anytime after 1.30pm. Our front door is locked at 2.25pm until 4pm.
The cost per artist is £10 per session and the afternoon usually consists of four 25 minute poses with a short break after the first two poses. Payment is taken during the midway break.
We have many male and female models of varied body types, ages. We are continually looking for diversity in ethnicity too but this is a struggle!
Please bring your own materials and refreshments and easels/drawing boards if required. You are free to use whatever materials you wish as long as you clean up any mess created.
